Welcome to the Work Oriented Programmes (WOP) portal of Sri Venkateshwara University (SVUS), Sikkim. By accessing the University's website or submitting an application for admission to any Work Oriented Programme, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Note: These Terms & Conditions apply to all applicants, students, employers, training partners, industry partners, institutions, and users of the SVUS website and online admission portal. 1. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in any programme is subject to the regulations, ordinances, and academic policies of Sri Venkateshwara University.

3. Eligibility for Admission

Admission to any Work Oriented Programme is subject to the following conditions:

  • The applicant must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria for the respective programme.
  • All information furnished in the application form must be complete, accurate, and authentic.
  • Admission granted shall remain provisional until verification of original documents.
  • Submission of false, fabricated, or misleading information may result in immediate cancellation of admission without refund.

4. Document Verification

Applicants shall provide all required documents as prescribed by the University.

5. Fee Payment

6. Employer and Workplace Requirements

  • Students shall remain responsible for maintaining their employment or workplace engagement throughout the programme, wherever applicable.
  • The University does not guarantee employment or placement unless specifically stated.
  • Employers participating in Work Oriented Programmes shall comply with applicable labour laws and programme guidelines.
  • Workplace training shall be conducted only through approved employers or recognised industry partners.

7. Attendance and Academic Requirements

Students enrolled in Work Oriented Programmes shall:

  • Maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by the University.
  • Successfully complete academic coursework, assignments, projects, practical training, and assessments.
  • Participate in workplace learning activities wherever applicable.
  • Fulfil all credit requirements for the award of the qualification.

Failure to meet academic requirements may result in withholding of results or cancellation of enrolment.

8. Student Code of Conduct

Every student shall:

  • Follow all University rules, regulations, ordinances, and academic policies.
  • Maintain honesty and academic integrity.
